Foley was One of a kind
The editorial and David Rossie’s commentary on Helen Foley were well- deserved tributes to an excellent teacher.
In the 1950s, I was a Binghamton Central High School student in her public speaking and dramatic classes. Miss Foley’s “You can do it” attitude and the on-stage experience made a difference in my life, which later enabled me to become involved with local amateur theatrical groups.
Helen Foley will be missed, for she was a gem — a “one of a kind.”
