David D. Allen

1935 - 2017 Obituary 

David D. Allen, 82, of Taggart Rd. Newfield, died Tuesday November 28, 2017 at the Cayuga Medical Center. He was born in Westport, NY son of the late Ralph and Mable Byce Allen and widow of Ruth Allan.

David was the Chief Electrical Engineer at the Parks School of Communication Ithaca College, Radio and Television. he was also a former member of the Newfield Fire and Rescue and was active in the youth bowling at the Bowl-O-Drome. Survivors include Daughters: Tamara Conover and Rachelle & Rebecca (Becky) Allen, Son: Ralph Allen also 8 Grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday December 4, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Bangs Funeral Home with Cantor Abbe Lyons officiating, Friends may call from 12:00 noon till 2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Newfield. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to either Planned parenthood or St Jude's Children Hospital.
