Secretary’s Report- Read as stated

 

 

Treasurers Report- Treasury balance- XXX.38 as of past report. An additional deposit of $20.00 will be made to the treasury for the sale of Charlie Hallinan’s “Scrap Book” CD.

 

 

Old Business- 

1] Our April 12th meeting will be with Dave Niccosia at the NWS (National Weather    

    Service). A “SKYWARN” meeting and a tour and weather updates are planned.

    Please note our earlier starting time of 6:45 PM for this special meeting. We may   

    have everybody eat on his or her own, before the 6:45 PM meeting. Details to be

    announced.

2] May and June’s meetings still remain open. Jim Pratt is looking for a guest speaker

    for May.

3] July will again be our “Never Rain” picnic at Tom Siglin’s house in Vestal, NY.

 

 

New Business-

1] A free copy of Charlie Hallinan’s “Scrap Book” CD was donated to the Bundy   

    Museum.

2] A presentation of broadcast equipment and technology is being investigated.

    This would be a possible monthly meeting, later on this year. Details will be

    announced as we receive them. The venue would be similar to what Larry

    Bloomfield did with the road show- “A Taste of NAB”.

3] September 24th will be Broadcasters Reunion at the Riverwalk Hotel and

    Conference Center in Binghamton. Further information will be forthcoming.

4] In October, SBE Chapter 22 will again put on the Broadcasters Expo at Turning

    Stone Casino in Verona, NY. More details to follow as we get closer to Fall.
