BUSINESS:
Meeting started at 7:34 PM
Raffle was won by Jim Pratt; $5.00 was donated to the Chapter 1 treasury.
Secretary’s Report- Reading of the February 10, 2004 minutes was accepted as read.
Treasurers Report- $XXX.51 with the $5.00 current raffle proceeds.
Old Business-
1] Calendar…April’s meeting is to be announced. May will be a presentation on Harris transmitters. June’s meeting will either be a luncheon or a night meeting
and tour of the WEBO facilities in Owego, NY.
Two events for July- The annual "never rain" picnic will be held on July 17th
beginning 4:00 PM till dusk, at Tom Siglin’s house in Vestal, NY. Larry Bloomfield will be our special guest. An open invitation to our fellow chapter members at 2
and 22 is extended. The mini NAB show in Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY. will be Monday, July 19th with the venue starting at 6:00 PM. Chapter SBE and non SBE engineers, Ithaca college students and faculty are encouraged to attend.
New Business-
1] Bill Sitzman and Don Perkins have applied for SBE membership for Chapter 1.
Both will be full fledge SBE members later this month.
2] An email from Richard Novak(NYWS) was read and discussed. This referenced the satellite setup for the State Emergency Management Office(SEMO). Those using the newly supplied dishes are to receive the signal, formerly GE-5, from AMC-5.
3] Don Perkins stated that WEBO’s frequency change, will occur this weekend.

PROGRAM: Vinnie Lopez , our guest from chapter 22, announced the official March kickoff of the SBE drive for membership. He also presented a update on the conversion to digital at WSYT/WNYS in Syracuse, NY.
