BUSINESS:
Meeting started at 7:37 PM
A moment of prayer and reflection in remembrance of Tom Ichikawa who passed on Thursday May 6.
Raffle was won by Gino Ricciardelli; $10.00 was donated to the Chapter 1 treasury.
Secretary’s Report- Reading of the April 13, 2004 minutes was accepted as read.
Treasurers Report- $XXX.51 with the $10.00 current raffle proceeds.
Old Business-
June’s meeting will be night meeting. Two events for July- The annual "never rain" picnic will be held on July 17th beginning 4:00 PM till dusk, at Tom Siglin’s house, 108 Clark St. in Vestal, NY. Larry Bloomfield will be our special guest. An open invitation to our fellow chapter members at 2 and 22 is extended. The mini NAB show in Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY. will be Monday, July 19th with the buffet supper starting at 5:00 PM. The presentation venue will follow which will include a presentation from Leader Instruments and a white paper on DTV translators presented by Kent Parsons. Chapter SBE, SMPTE and non SBE engineers, Ithaca college students and faculty are encouraged to attend. Dave Allen checked on the buffet supper arrangements; the menu of different buffet dinners that are available was passed around for review. A minimum of 15 people is required to obtain any of the choices presented.
New Business-
1] A memorial service will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) for Tom(Tommy) Ichikawa at 11:00 AM at the Estey & Munroe Funeral Home in Owego, NY.
