The July 8th (Thursday) meeting will be our annual “Never Rain
Picnic” will
be
hosted by our member Tom Siglin starting at 6:00 PM till dark. Location is at
108
Clark St., Vestal, NY. Hot dogs,
hamburgers, chicken, beverages and
condiments
will be provided by SBE Chapter 1.
Please bring a dish to pass.

Business- Jim went over all upcoming meeting dates

June’s meeting will be presented by Tektronix (June 10th). Location
to be announced.

“A Taste of NAB”, to be presented by Larry Bloomfield, will be held on August
12th (Thursday) at the Vestal Public Library in Vestal, NY. The
supper tentatively will start about 5:00 PM and the presentation about 5:30
PM. The dinner will be provided by
Chapter 1 and will be free of charge to those who attend the “ A Taste of NAB”
road show. Additional updates, as needed, as we get closer to August 12th
meeting.
In
addition to the door prizes supplied by vendors that Larry Bloomfield has lined
up, Chapter 1 will be selling raffle tickets for extra give away items.

Phillips to confirm the overall time slot for the presentation.

A possible “SkyWarn presentation by Dave Niccosia of the NWS (National
Weather Service) is possibility for a
fall meeting. Chapter 1’s board of directors
to look into this at a later date.
