50/50 Raffle Gino Ricarrdelli won and donated the $14.00 to Chapter 1.

Secretary’s Report-

Reading of April 9^th minutes was accepted as read.

Treasurers Report-

Reported account balance. Notification from Charter One Bank that we must keep at least $500.00, as a minimum, in our checking account or they we impose a monthly fee.

Old Business-

] Steve Miller has the certification disks. Tom Siglin will be able to help out in the distribution of disk(s) to all current SBE Chapter One members.

2]. Elections- New officers for the 2002/2003 term is as follows-

James Pratt- Chairman Tom Siglin- Vice Chairman

Secretary- Scott Phillips, SR Treasurer- Steve Miller

Old Business-

1] Vinnie Lopez, from SBE Chapter 22, told us that Chapter 1 will be recognized as the founding chapter and we need to be apart of the celebration with SBE’s 30^th anniversary. Again this year, the convention will be held at the Turning Stone Casino, near Syracuse, NY, on September 26th^. Discussion followed on how to obtain the best attendance from our members. It was agreed to hold our September monthly meeting at the Turning Stone Casino on September 26th^. A room will be provided to accommodate our members.

1] The June meeting will be a luncheon at Denny’s Diner, at 12 PM noon. July’s meeting will be the annual "never rain" picnic at Tom Siglin’s residence. August’s meeting TBA with a possible Tektronix presentation. (Gino Riccardelli & Jim Pratt will coordinate).

2] An E-mail letter from Don Ryan was read. Discussion followed on how to best serve our fellows to the west of Binghamton, NY and in the Elmira, NY area. A fall meeting in the Owego/Sayre, NY area will be planned to accomplish this.

PROGRAM: Bill Powers from Video Sound in Ithaca, NY brought in John Margardo-Regional Sales Manager & Michael Pecoraro- Applications Engineer Manager from LEITCH and Diana Janos- District Sales Manager from JVC.
