Secretary’s Report- Read as stated
Treasurers’ Report- Tom Siglin stated the present balance is $XXX.09
Old Business-
1) Tom Ray may do the May meeting giving us an EAS update.
2) June, we will be at the National Weather Service(NWS) at Dawes Rd next to the Greater Binghamton Airport, Town of Maine, NY.
3) July's “Never Rain Picnic” will be 6:00 PM on July 9th at 151 Smith Hill Rd., Binghamton, NY. Jim Pratt and Ferdinand( Fred ) Montalvo to help out Scott Phillips in this endeavor.
4) On September 14th, we will be meeting at the Broadcasters Reunion to be held at the (Riverwalk Hotel and Conference Center) now called “Double Tree by Hilton Hotel Binghamton” 225 Water Street in downtown Binghamton.
5) September 25th will be the SBE Chapter 22 Tech Expo at Turning Stone in Verona NY
1) The Marconi Tower Project is on hold, as per Scott Phillips, due to lack of enough support at this
moment in time. Eric Adler and Bill Sitzman have offered to assist in keeping the 100th anniversary
alive.
2) October’s and November’s meeting programs are open. December’s Holiday Party is tentative to be held at Red Lobster
3) Bill Flynn will give a presentation on AM-FM broadcasting from private to corporate ownership at the Broome County Historical Library. This will later be broadcasted TBA on Time Warner cable.
