Secretary’s Report- Reading of the May minutes
Treasurers Report- $X,XXX.XX which includes the annual SBE rebate check of $108.95 and the pre pay deposit of $200.00 for August 14th’s meeting.
Old Business- 1]
1] Our July 10th (Thursday) meeting will be
our annual “Never Rain Picnic” hosted by Tom and Kathy Siglin starting at 6:00
PM to dark. Location is at 108 Clark St. in Vestal, NY. Bring a dish to pass.
Hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken; SBE Chapter 1 will provide beverages, condiments
and a good time.
Paul Kaminski has a small presentation, during the
picnic, and will bring the “SBE” cake
for dessert!
2] “A Taste of NAB”, with Larry Bloomfield is planned for
August 14th at the American Legion in Vestal, NY. Jim Pratt
confirmed the final location and supper arrangements. There will be a free
supper to everyone who attends this meeting. The menu was picked as well as the
discussion for the final setup and time.

David Nicosia, from the NWS (National Weather Service) discussed the enhanced New York State Alert System. Also discussed was the recent flood and damage issues surrounding our immediate area.
