Meeting started at 7:45 pm.
Secretary’s Report- Reading of the May 10, 2005 minutes was accepted as read.
Treasurers Report- Treasures report- No report
Old Business-
1] On July 12th, the "Almost Never Rain" picnic will be held at Tom Siglin’s house, 108 Clark St. in Vestal, NY. The time has been set at 6:00 pm. Please bring a dish to pass.
2] Larry Bloomfield will be presenting The "Taste of NAB Road Show" at the WSKG-TV46 studio, Gates Road, Vestal NY on Monday August 22nd- at 6:00PM.
Dinner location to be decided at July’s meeting. We will not be providing food at the venue site. This presentation will replace our regular August 9th Tuesday meeting day.
4] Chapter 1 elections: A motion at June’s meeting was made and voted on; to keep the current slate of officers. However, we would still need to send out e-mail notices to invite current SBE members to nominate a candidate of their choice.
5] The September 13th meeting we will have a luncheon, possibly at The Park Diner in Binghamton or Denny’s Restaurant in Vestal.
6] Chapter 22 will hold it’s 33rd annual Broadcast & Technology Expo at The
Turning Stone Casino on Wednesday, September 28th 2005. Volunteers from our Chapter will once again be needed to help.
7] Still looking for ideas on a new place to have the our annual Holiday/Christmas Party event for December.
New Business-
1]The yearly SBE national rebate check was received in the amount of $177.00.
2] We wish to welcome Bob Taylor to our SBE Chapter 1, from SBE Chapter 15.
