Secretary’s Report- Reading of the May minutes
Treasurers Report- Treasury balance was stated as $X,XXX.81
1] July 19th will be our annual SBE “Never
Rain Picnic” hosted by Tom and Kathy
Siglin starting at 6:00 PM to dark. Location is at 108
Clark St. ,Vestal, NY. Bring a dish to pass.
2] August 13th “A taste of NAB” presentation with Larry Bloomfield to be held at Vestal Elk Lodge,
Vestal Parkway West in Vestal, NY. A free light supper will be served at 6:00 PM.
Further details will be announced as we receive them.
3] In September, our 12 noon luncheon meeting will be at
the Park Diner- Binghamton, NY.
4] October 16-17th are the dates for the
35th SBE Chapter 22 Expo to be held at
Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY.
5] Advertising on our Chapter 1 web site for broadcast
manufacturers at a yearly
fee of $120.00 was announced. This would be billed on a yearly basis.
Dialight
expressed a desire to be up on our web
site.
New Business-
1] Jim Pratt wishes to not run for chairman this year and
a suggestion that Tom
Siglin run for that position and Jim Pratt run for vice-chairman. Scott
Phillips
would remain as secretary. Tom Siglin could also be considered for
treasurer on
a temporary or permanent basis, filling the position left by Steve
Miller.
2] SBE National yearly rebate check, in the amount of
$127.00 was added to our treasury.
3] Chapter 1 will donation $100.00 to help underwrite the
October 20th Broadcasters
Reunion to be held at Brothers Two, in Endwell,
NY.
4] Updated EAS information was
reviewed.
