Meeting started at 7:42 PM.

50/50 Raffle Bill Sitzman won the door prize. Raffle money was donated to Chapter 1.

Secretary’s Report-

Reading of the June 11^th minutes was accepted as read.

Treasurers Report-

Accepted as stated. Additional $10.00 from raffles was added to our checking account.

Old Business-

1] The August Chapter 1 meeting will be a 6:00 PM supper at Denny’s Diner on Vestal, NY. The program, presented by Tektronix, will be in the WICZ TV40 conference room starting at 8:00 PM. Our September meeting will be at the Turning Stone Casino, near Syracuse, NY, on September 26^th. A fall meeting for October will be in the Owego/Sayre, NY area, with a possible tour of WATS/WAVR in Sayre. Dinner meeting might be held at O’Briens Inn. Larry Brown to advise us by August. Tentative plans for the November program to be held at Hart Electronics. Tom Siglin to check on this. December’s meeting will be the Holiday Party. Location not yet decided.

2] Chapter 1 will be recognized as the founding chapter at the Turning Stone Casino on September 26^th. A room will be provided to accommodate our members for our meeting. Bill Sitzman, Scott Phillips & Tom Siglin to look into obtaining a banner for Chapter One that can be used at out display booth during the convention. Wording would include "SBE Chapter 1- The Founding Chapter" with possible "Binghamton, NY". A pass out paper is under consideration, which would include the history of Chapter 1 on the front side. Opposite side would include current officer and member information, along with our web site information. Scott Phillips & Tom Siglin to coordinate the distribution of 500 printed copies.

1] Two (2) EAS tapes will be sent to Jim Pratt from Vinne Lopez. Discussion pursued on the current EAS procedures.

2] Steve Miller will deliver the 5 SBE training discs to Tom Siglin for distribution.
