Secretary’s Report- Read last month's minutes

Treasurers Report- Treasury balance is - $XXX.38 as of 9/14/10

Old Business-

1]SBE Elections are due. A slate of officers will be required. The offices running uncontested are the Secretary’s, presently held by Scott Phillips and the Treasures office presently held by Tom Siglin. The Chairman, Co-Chairman offices remain open. Jim Pratt has offered to be Chairman is no other member steps forward. A Co-Chairman also needs to be appointed. An email with a slate of officers will be composed by Jim Pratt, for review before our next meeting.

2] October’s meeting will be, in part, held at the SBE Chapter 22 Broadcast and Technology Expo on October 6^th.

3] Postponed until further notice- A possible “SkyWarn presentation by Dave Niccosia of the NWS (National Weather Service. Chapter 1’s board of directors will look into this at a later date.

New Business-

1] November’s meeting to be hosted by Paul Kaminsky and will feature USB information and applications.

2] The SBE Chapter One Christmas Dinner is scheduled for December 14th at 6:00 PM at Maro’s Restaurant in the Regency Hotel.

3] The January and February meetings will be luncheons- location TBA.

4] The March meeting is tentatively planned with a presentation by Eric Adler at WSKG –TV46.

Program- A tour of the new 2011 Nucomm’s “microwave” ENG van was presented by Steve DeFala. Thanks also go to the Vitec Group(Nucomm) for picking up the dinner tab for those who attended the meeting.
