Meeting started at 7:49 pm.

Raffle proceeds of $4.50 to go to Chapter 1 treasury.

Secretary’s Report- Reading of the Sept 13, 2005 minutes was accepted as read.

Treasurers Report- Treasures report- No report, referred to last month’s balance.

Old Business-

1] Discussion on Charlie Hallinan's "Scrapbook" CD. 25 CD’s were sold at the

Broadcaster's Reunion Party" on September 24^th. Majority of funds received, will be forwarded to National SBE for the Ennes Fund.

2] Jon Scaptura reported on the "Broadcaster's Reunion Party" that was held at Brothers Two Restaurant- Endwell, NY on September 24^th. Over 175 people were

in attendance. A fine time was had by all.

3] Our annual Holiday/Christmas Party event for December has been scheduled

for 6:00 pm on December 13^th at the Park Diner in Binghamton.

4] SBE Chapter 22 had their Broadcast & Technology Expo at Turning Stone Casino Resort in Verona, NY. Many of our members were in attendance for the

two day event. Some of our Chapter 1 members chipped in to provide help and assistance to fill in the gaps for the Chapter 22 membership.

New Business-

1] Our November schedule is--November 8, 2005 Time:6:00pm Dinner at the Old Country Buffet in Vestal Town Square Mall-Vestal NY. The meeting place will be

at WSKG (Gates Road Vestal NY), in the conference room at 7:30pm. Chris

Crump from Comrex Corp. will focus on BRIC technology and how it will enable broadcasters to use the public Internet to transmit reliable, real-time, high quality and full bi-directional audio.

2] January and February’s meetings will 12:00(noon) luncheons at the Park Diner-

Conklin Ave., Binghamton, NY.

PROGRAM: A tour of the facilities of ClearChannel radio on N.Jenson Rd in Vestal, NY. Jon Scaptura and Bob Taylor gave us a great insight on the building layout, sales dept, studios, studio production and engineering.
