50/50 Raffle Scott Phillips, Sr won the raffle. $7.00 was donated to Chapter 1.

Secretary’s Report-

Reading of the Aug 13th minutes was accepted as read.

Treasurers Report-

Accepted as stated. Additional $7.00 from raffle was added to our checking account.

Old Business-

1] Tom Siglin received the discs to be distributed to SBE members. The new banner for Chapter One was presented and displayed at the Chapter 22 Convention. The banner was hand made by Sue Phillips for $125.00. Wording includes "Society of Broadcast Engineers" "Chapter 1- The Founding Chapter" "Binghamton, NY"; along with the round SBE logo.

2] A fall meeting for October will be in the Owego/Sayre, NY area, with a tour of WATS/WAVR in Sayre. The dinner meeting will be at Bemann’s on Elmira St. in South Athens. The November supper is planned at the Old Country Buffet at 6:00 PM. The 8:00 PM program to be at WSKG46 TV, with a Tektronix seminar presentation. December’s meeting will be our holiday party at the Little Venice. The January/February meetings to be the Winter luncheons at Denny’s Diner on the Vestal Parkway in Vestal, NY.

National SBE is proposing a small increase in annual membership dues. Dues paid yearly would increase to $60.00 (from 55.00) for regular members and $18.00 (from 15.00) for student members.
